6 ficlets, 3 Kinn and 3 Monfer
I've never posted anything on here before but I've been a member and an avid Kinn shipper forever and I've written a lot on my Tumblr (coryandchris.tumblr.com)
So, I thought I would post them here, if that's alright!
(All PG)
So here's a post of some random Kinn and Monfer ficlets I have written. Enjoy?
Kinn: Pamphlets (PG)
“Finn?”
Finn shoved the pieces of paper behind his back, his face rapidly turning red as he looked up at Kurt.
“Uh… yes?”
Kurt frowned suspiciously and tilted his head to the side to try and see around Finn’s back. The taller boy coughed and looked to the side.
“Are they my-“
“Nope! No. No way. I’m not reading anything.” The words tumbled out of his mouth far too quickly for them to be true, causing Kurt to smirk.
“Gay sex pamphlets? Really?”
Finn sighed and pulled them out, looking over them. “I was curious…”
“I bet you were.”
“Not like that! I just- I wanted.” He stammered, trying to explain himself as Kurt smiled unbelievingly.
“Mmm-hmm…”
“I just wanted to know-“
“You know, you’re just giving me more blackmail.” Kurt laughed and turned to walk away.
“I just wanted to know what went down in the tent!”
Monfer Grammys (PG)
“I don’t have to go”
“Cory” Chris croaked and shook his head before bursting into a coughing fit, covering his hand with his fist.
“Chris…”
“I’m fine” He shook his head, not wanting Cory to miss out because of him. “I know how much you want to go”
Cory couldn’t lie, he just looked down sheepishly, shrugging. “I’d rather make sure you’re okay.”
Despite feeling a warm rush in his stomach, Chris stood up and walked over to Cory. He opened his mouth to talk but instead collapsed into another fit of coughs. Cory’s hand shot out immediately to rub his back soothingly until he had finished, his eyes watering.
“Babe-“
“Cory, I love you, but please go. I’ll just read your Tweets about it.” He smiled shyly and fixed Cory’s tie. “They’ll miss you there.”
“I’ll call you when I get there.” Chris grinned at Cory finally giving up. “I love you.”
“I know, now go! I don’t want you around when I look like crap anyway.” Cory turned around to disagree but Chris shoved him out of the door, closing it loudly and laughing, causing him to cough again.
After composing himself, he made his way back over to the bed, sighing and sinking into the sheets just in time for his phone to go off.
“Are you serious?” He groaned and groped around on his bedside table for his phone and held it to his ear. “He-“
“You’re beautiful.”
Chris’ heart fluttered as he smiled and rolled over, holding the phone to his ear, talking to his boyfriend as he missed out on one of many events to come.
Warm Milk (PG)
“Y’know, not only is it delicious, but warm milk is good for you too.”
Kurt handed Finn his milk, watching him grin in return.
“Thanks man.” He took a sip and put it on his bedside table, looking back over to his game.
Kurt stood by the bed awkwardly, like he did every night. But this time, instead of leaving he perched on the end of the bed, causing Finn to look over and raise his eyebrows.
“Uh… are you okay?”
“If stuff was happening at school… You would tell me, right?” Kurt bit his lip and looked down at his lap. “You know that I’m always here to talk to.”
“Yeah… I know…”
“Because I’m always interested.”
Finn looked up at him and sighed. “Everything is kinda a huge mess right now… I mean, you transferred to get away from that so-“
“But if it’s troubling you…” Kurt pressed for more information.
“Dude!” Finn laughed. “It’s fine, chill out.” He nudged him on the shoulder and picked up his milk again. “What about you?”
Kurt shrugged “Everything’s fine.”
“Because I’m always interested…” Finn mimicked him, grinning into his milk.
“Screw you!” Kurt smiled despite standing up and turning his back on Finn.
The taller boy laughed “Oh come on, it’s the same thing!”
Kurt pouted and walked over to the door. “You won’t be getting any milk tomorrow.”
“Yes I will, you always bring me milk!”

Kurt rolled his eyes at Finn’s triumphant smirk and handed him his milk.
“Only because I don’t get to really see you otherwise.” Kurt smiled sheepishly and left the room without turning back.

“Finn?”
Kurt’s head poked up out of the top of his duvet, his hair wild and stuck up all over the place, his eyes bloodshot and his floor covered in tissues.
Finn grimaced and walked around them, handing Kurt a mug.
“You’re ill so… I made you milk instead.” He grinned as Kurt took the mug, blowing on it gently before spilling it when he coughed. Finn quickly snatched it back off him to stop him scalding himself and placed it on Kurt’s bedside table instead.
“Thanks Finn.” Kurt’s voice was croaky but his smile was sincere and it gave Finn a funny feeling in his stomach.
“No problem… Feel better soon!” He ruffled Kurt’s hair and walked out, leaving Kurt staring after him.
“Stupid Finn.” He muttered and picked up his milk again, sipping it carefully. “I’m never going to get over you if you do that.”
Daddy!Kinn (PG)
“Eliza!”
Kurt waited a few moments at the bottom of the stairs, tapping his feet impatiently before calling louder.
“ELIZA!”
“I’M COMING!” Kurt sighed and shook his head at the screech, making his way back to the kitchen to check on the dinner.
After a few minutes of pottering around and setting the table, a stroppy teenage girl sauntered into the kitchen texting, she made herself comfortable on the kitchen counter, not even looking up at her father.
“Wow, I think you’ve set a new world record for World’s shortest skirt.” He raised an eyebrow at her disapprovingly before pulling the chicken out of the oven.
“And you’ve set one for World’s gayest gay.” She responded, gesturing wildly at the pink apron tied around her dad’s waist, a perfect bow at the back. He blushed and smoothed it down.
“It stops any food getting onto my clothes.” He started plating up the food. “Plus… Your father seems to like it…”
“Oh, no, gross.” Eliza slid off the counter pretending to throw up. “Seriously, do whatever you want to in your spare time but please don’t talk to me about it. That’s just… ugh.”
Kurt chuckled and put the plates on the table, looking at the clock on the oven. “Do you know where your fa-”
He was cut off by a loud, booming voice coming down the stairs.
“SUPER BEN! SAVING THE WORLD BEFORE DINNER! WOOOSH!”
Finn Hudson ran into the kitchen, holding his one year old son over his head and swinging him around. “LOOK AT THIS LOVELY FOOD!”
“Careful…” Kurt bit his lip as Ben giggled and flailed in Finn’s arms.
The taller man leant down to kiss Kurt happily. “He’ll be fine. It looks beautiful, by the way.”
Kurt beamed proudly as his partner sat their son down at the table before joining them himself.
“Of course it does, I cooked it didn’t I?”
Eliza rolled her eyes as Finn grinned and squeezed his hand under the table. “That is a very good point…” He paused for a second before addressing their son. “Ben, are you enjoying that?” He chuckled as the small boy began rubbing his dinner into his face, attempting to get some of it into his mouth.
“Oh Ben!” Kurt scolded softly, picking up the small plastic fork and feeding him until Ben snatched the fork from him.
“He gets his messy eating habits from you, you know.” He looked over to see Finn nodding, chicken almost overflowing out of his mouth.
“Yerph, propherly my fault…” He covered his mouth to stop himself from spitting food all over the table, earning himself a critical look from his husband.
“I am the only normal person in the family, it’s ridiculous.” Eliza picking up a piece of chicken on her fork and placed it delicately in her mouth, swallowing it before continuing quietly. “The best singer too…”
“I knew she’d been spending too much time with Rachel…” Kurt shook his head and held out his hand as Ben began spitting his food back out again.
“Auntie Rachel understands me. Unlike you. That’s why.”
Finn almost choked on his food, eyes watering with laugher whilst leaning over to ruffle his daughter’s hair. “You’re just like her. Oh dear.”
“I’m glad I am!” She stood up dramatically and stormed out of the kitchen, causing both Finn and Kurt to burst into hysterics.
“Oh God, she’s just like her!” Ben joined in the giggling, not knowing why but slamming his fork on to the table excitedly anyway, making the two men laugh even harder.

“Mrph.”
“What?”
“Mrrrph.” Finn looked down at Kurt who was cuddled against his stomach on the couch, his eyes closed and his mouth slack.
“Kurt baby, you’re not making any sense.” The smaller man hugged him closer and squeezed his eyes closed.
“I said, I love you.” He yawned and kissed Finn’s hand, holding it close to him. “And I’m tired.”
Finn chuckled, using his other hand to stroke his husbands hair down with. “I’m not surprised. Ben made you read him that story about eight times.”
He felt Kurt smile against his stomach. “I could tell you everything that goddamned caterpillar ate, and on which day. I could probably do it backwards!”
Leaning down to kiss Kurt’s forehead, Finn nodded. “I’m sure you could.”
After a few minutes, Kurt sat up and stretched his back out before wrapping his arms around Finn’s neck and kissing him softly. “Thank you.”
“For what?” Finn let his arms snake around Kurt’s waist as always.
“Just, everything.” He smiled and stood up, holding his hand out to help the taller up. “Let’s go to bed before I pass out on the floor and crinkle my clothes.”
Finn laughed loudly, pulling Kurt against him and kissing his forehead. “God, I love you.”
“Yes well we can talk about your love for God later, right now you better love me else you’re sleeping on the couch.”
Kurt kept hold of Finn’s hand and lead him up the stairs quietly into their bedroom, letting go only to strip out of his clothes and slip into bed. Finn followed suit, snuggling down into the duvets as soon as he could and pulling Kurt towards him.
“Calm down limpet.” Kurt grinned and wrapped his arms around Finn’s waist, closing his eyes as his husband pressed kissed against the top of his head.
“Good night.”
“I love you.”
“I love you more.”
“For God’s sake Finn, not now, go to sleep… I love you the most.”
Darren? (PG)
“What are you wearing?!” Chord jogged up to walk next to Cory, who was wearing an outfit that could only be described as… ‘different.’
Cory shrugged, grinning proudly to himself.
“I think I look cool! Hip! Y’know, younger!”
Chord blinked at him for a moment before bursting into hysterical laughter, so much so he actually had to stop walking to double over and clutch his sides.
“C’mon man! It’s not that funny!”
He just laughed harder, then stopped, looking up at Cory in his beanie and sunglasses before cracking up again.
“Screw you!” Cory walked away again, not even turning around as Chord caught up with him.
“I was kidding,” The blonde’s voice was shaky, like he was still trying to hold back laughter. “You look… great.”
“I know I do” Cory actually cracked a smile before looking down as Chord who was biting his lip to stop himself laughing. “Okay, I don’t.. I know”
He sighed and stopped walking sitting himself down on one of the trailers on the lot. “I just feel old… You know?”
Chord rolled his eyes and stood opposite him, stretching out his back. “You’re not old. You’re still, you know, young and care free or whatever.”
The taller boy laughed and looked down at his phone, frowning. “Shit.” The curse was muttered but it still caught Chord’s attention.
“What is it?”
“It doesn’t matter…”
“Tell me!”
Cory held his phone against his chest protectively. “No way, man!”
Chord dived in, taking the phone out of Cory’s hands easily and reading half the writing before it was snatched away from him.
He frowned and watched as Cory exited the page and put his phone in his pocket, avoiding eye contact with Chord. “… I don’t get it. A tweet?” Cory didn’t respond “You think Chris likes Darren?”
“Apparently…” Cory shrugged and sat back down again, pulling his beanie further down over his face.
After a confused moment, Chord put the pieces together in his head, letting out a quiet ‘oh’ as he did. “You like Chris.”
“Everyone likes Chris.”
“Yes but you like him. And you’re afraid he likes Darren, which is why you’re dressing weird. Doesn’t Darren have a beanie like that?” Chord laughed in shock as Cory shrugged and hung his head down. “I’m right!”
“…I’m even wearing stupid coloured sunglasses.”
“Dude, you’re an idiot!” He shook his head in disbelief as Cory looked up at him and glared.
“Yeah, thank’s for that, friend.”
“No, I mean, Chris likes you way more than Darren!” The older man took his glasses off and shook his head.
“Nah-“
“He does! He talks about you all the time! You two are so close!” Chord is actually surprised he didn’t notice it sooner. “He only talks to Darren so much because they’re on a different set to us… Trust me. He likes you more.”
After pausing for a moment, biting his lip, Cory actually looked hopeful and looked up, playing with his sunglasses in his hands nervously.”You think?”
“Hell yeah!” Chord grinned excitedly. Dianna would be proud of him for matchmaking. “You should ring him!”
“… Yeah, maybe I will!” Cory grinned back, dialling Chris’ number on his phone.
“Oh, wait!” Chord pulled his phone out of his pocket. “Put your glasses back on, I need to tweet this so bad.”
Cory put his sunglasses back on and pouted at the camera, his phone pressed against his ear with Chris’ number ringing in the background.
‘What a gangsta’
More like creepy (PG)
“You know,” Kurt carried on babbling to Finn, who was pretending to be interested. “He even knows my coffee order! How romantic is that?!”
“Romantic? More like creepy…” Finn scoffed looking over to the TV.
After staring at him for a while, Kurt stood up. “Why can’t you just be happy for me?” Rather than angry, Kurt looked genuinely confused. “What? Is it because it’s a guy? I thought you were over this…”
“It’s not that he’s a guy! I just don’t like him.” Finn tried to explain. “And knowing your coffee order means nothing. I bet he doesn’t know that you… listen to defying gravity every night before you go to bed. Or that you love eating healthily but you have a weak spot for fries. Or that you’ve seen the Sound of Music like… a million times.”
He looked over to where Kurt was sat, jaw slack. “What?”
“I didn’t even know you knew those things about me…”
“Yeah, well.” Finn shrugged. “I just listen.”
