4. Among strangers, I tend to alter who I appear to be depending on what would most conflict with their group... if they're all students, I'll act more like a working, city boy... whereas in horrid city bars I tend to emphasise my scruffiness a bit more. I don't know why it is that I practice this social dissonance, but I know Tom's spoken about it before too. Odd.
