it felt like we were little kids in detention
it's not our fault we're not mind readers
just 2 minutes sooner!

But just think of all the brownie points you earned by actually doing the lab (btw, she should've just let you go home, but physics profs are generally evil, so it's not surprising).

she did let us go home after making us sit there for 10 minutes. I didn't make it clear in my entry, call me a dummy =) But we were getting so worried that she was going to take it out on us!

it ended up earning us brownie points anyway because she thought we were the only ones who waited for her and she's so nice to us now lol.

At my school there's a rule, whether it is written or not I do not know but everyone follows it, that if a Teaching Assistant is 10 minutes late to the lab or discussion section we can leave, and if a professor is 15 minutes late we can leave, with no penalty. In fact, my nutrition professor last year once arrived just over 15 minutes late and told the class that we should have just left!
