Tron: Legacy

We just got back from watching Tron: Legacy. It was pretty much what we expected: great visuals, Daft Punk sound track. If you liked the look in the trailers, and like Daft Punk, the movie's worth seeing, because it's got plenty of both of those things (and boy are the visuals slick). In Kevin Allen's defense, when you do the math on how long he's been in there, for him it was more like 1000 years. I'd imagine that would have an effect on someone.

There is that, but I'm still not convinced because: 1. the writers never directly mentioned that fact, which you think they would if they were going for that angle, and 2. his behavior otherwise seemed pretty normal.

Yeah, I suspect that's what they were going for, and I think we saw some of it in his whole "we do nothing" thing, but I think the writers really failed to get it across.
