My sister just came to visit and insisted on checking me over when I said my scalp was itchy. apparently, I have lice. Now, a moment of silence to be grateful that lice can't fly...
Lice spread from person to person when heads touch. Because they can live independent of a person for up to 55 hours, they are also commonly spread via stuffed animals, hats, headphones, combs, brushes, towels, clothing, car seats, sofa cushions, and bedding.
Given the number of ways they can spread and how long you can have them without noticing, the wonder is that everyone doesn't have them.
But I'm sorry that you do, and I hope you get rid of them quickly and easily.

I was very philosophical about it yesterday, If a tad annoyed. Then this morning I had to comb them out. Not philosophical at all anymore. So undescribably horrible. EEEWWWWWWWwwwww.... Even after I took my glasses off and was half blind it was horrible. And then it got even more horrible because I managed to STEP ON MY GLASSES and now I have broken them :-(. Will need to make a hopefully not too expensive stop at an optometrist on Monday, I think (snapped one side of the frame. Think it is glueable, but needs professional. As long as I don't need to buy a new frame, it cost about 3000DKKR...) All in all I did not have a good morning. But then I went over to my granny's for dinner and my sister came over and things became considerably better. Have great hopes for tomorrow being better ;-)
