Books and Buying Stuff

My mother and I went to JC Penney this afternoon, I with the intent of shopping for tank tops and at least one shrug, to keep Josefa close to me, because she always wore them, my mother with little intent of buying anything.  I found neither item there that was to my liking, however, I did find a large number of other clothes that struck my fancy,

The other noteworthy thing that happened today was that I started reading To the Lighthouse. I really like Virginia Woolf. I'm never quite sure of the direction her work is going in, and it's always a pleasant surprise to finally find out.

I love Woolf. *does the rockon sign* ;)

Plus, she writes the way thoughts go through people's minds, or at least, the way thoughts go through my mind, and I've always wanted to know what other people are thinking, and reading her work is like delving into the mind of another human being.

Yes, and it's called stream of consciousness. She uses it in "Mrs. Dalloway", too. :)
