And there he is, a recent college graduate, freshly arrived in his parents’ mother country of South Korea on not much more than a whim, to teach English.
Jaejoong finds his future boss waiting for him at the airport, holding a sign with his name written on it in big black letters. There’s no turning back now.
The drive to his apartment is long

(and it reminded me of my own school, 2 of my teachers are married, and she used to be this guy's student...but this college, so that's ok, right? I don't really know, but oh well XD)
but yes, this story...so sweet, so heart breaking as well, but so beautiful *__*

and it's always "not okay" for a teacher to date a student, even if it's say... graduate school, where maybe the student is OLDER than the teacher.
so that college story is still romantic. :DDD

And I think it shows how accepting people at my study are, that they just went "oh cool" when they heard of my teachers being happily married now.
oh, and I hope you feel better soon *hugs*

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
P.S. There are a few things that I was unclear about and perhaps you may have the answer. For example, how did the student (Yunho) get the teacher(JaeJoong)'s personal phone number to sent the text? Why did the student (Yunho) stop coming to school 2 months before graduation even though he's so in love with the teacher? Maybe I'm just thinking too much while reading this. =p

In Korea, student/teacher relationships are more personal in a lot of ways, so pretty much all students have many teacher's phone numbers. Usually for school-related matter, of course.
The student stopped coming to school because everyone knew how he felt about the teacher, and it was ruining his reputation as the heartless bully. At the end of the day he was just 15, and DUMB, and his image was too important.

Wow, imagine having the teacher's phone number. I remember back in high school, that it was only we were in our final year and were studying for university entrance exams, did the teacher's start giving out their e-mails for student's to send their essays to.
That student should have just realised that he has only 2 months to endure and image isn't all that cracked-up to be. =)

it's been a while since i've read a teacher/student love and it wasn't just porn.
jae's feelings seemed very realistic and his train of thoughts was dead on. i think its very true that the first things going through a teacher's minds are negative ones about how he's a pedo and this can ruin lives around them
the ending got sweet and more magical but it was still a very nice ending. i think i would have been very angry if they hadn't ended up together after all of that mental strain.

i know what you mean about the ending getting kind of sweet/magical. i guess you can tell where the true story ends and the imagined one begins.

what happened was this:
as the graduation ceremony ended, i stood up and said goodbye to several students who were passing by me in a huge throng...
and then we saw each other, and we didn't speak because honestly what could either of us possibly say at that moment. but we just held each others arms and kind of desperately squeezed, and then he was carried away by the crowd, right out of my life.
and this happened about... *looks at watch* 12 hours ago.
