Doctor Who - "Midnight"

Unexpectedly scary and effective stuff from RTD. Wonderful to see one of the usual tropes of the show - that the Doctor rushes in, a stranger to everyone, and quickly gets nearly everyone following his instructions despite remaining enigmatic - being utterly subverted. It made good use of a small set and did well to keep it's "monster" a mystery

Well, it did blow its load on SFX halfway through, after a fashion. The brief glimpse of the panorama from the cabin was gratuitous and rather undermined all of the previous work making the atmosphere claustrophobic. Still a good episode, though.
