GUH.
So, so much love. I GREATLY disliked the first two, but this one? omfg. I'm still a book-loving fiend forevah, and I'll always love the books better than the films, I think, but THIS WAS ACTUALLY GOOD. Dude. Really good. It was a good film. It's always a bad idea to try and compare the films to the books.
The cinematography. Omg. The fading from shot to shot. The NEW Hogwarts (I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOOOOOVE. Everything. EVERYTHING.) landscape and all that. The portraits! DUDE! Aunt Marge, heeee! Well done. Also:
BUCKBEAK. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I WANT ONE OF MY VERY OWN OMG.
Fred and George. Oh my god. The Phelps twins. Jay-sus. Lord help me them me if I ever meet them in a dark alley... *faints*
LUPIN. LUPIIIN. omglove. lovelovelove <3 <3 <3. *takes him home and pets and coddles him and makes him feel bettah* *takes Sirius as well, omg* *watches what goes down, wink wink nudge nudge say no more*
Gary Oldman and David Thewlis are gods. Dude. Whoa. Liek. I didn't know if I would actually like them as Sirius and Lupin, but they were PERFECT. Or as close as one can get to the Lupin and Sirius in my head. (And maybe I'm just a slasher at heart, but... Whoa. Yeeeah. Sirius/Remus 4evah!x10)
And was it just me, or was EVERYONE perving on Harry? Haaahahahaha! <3
Oh, and, liek. When Draco blew the note/cartoon/origami thing at Harry? My friend and I nearly giggled out of our seats.
Me: "Harry, I heart you. Loff, Draco. oh-emm-gee."
Her: "Harry, will you go out with me? Do you liiike me? Check yes or no."
Hee.
Oh! Petter Pettigrew was creepy. Yuck.
The Dementors were well done, I think.
Did I mention that I love Lupin? Eeeee!
I think I have a zillion more thoughts on the movie (the main one being: LOOOOOVE!), but I'm too tired to type them all out.
But yeah. I liked it. Heh.
In other news, I miss my boyfriend and he's not getting back in town until Thursday. *pout* Buuut when he gets back, we're gonna go see PoA. Hah. Yay!
