Wow, kinda funny how I used to be on this LJ everyday, and now I find time for it about once a week. I guess i've just been busy--which I like. At Sally's I'm finally not working 40 hours a week, and have more reasonable shift times like some that start before 9PM-- thanks mr. scheduling manager. So, a lot has happened since I last wrote in the good ol' LJ. School is underway more than ever and i'm still figuring out how to remain a good full time student and work 40 hours a week. So here we are, the first Monday of October. I love October. It's cool out, but not freezing--and the leaves are changing and you can wear hoodies and sweaters without a winter jacker over them. After classes today I felt compelled to take a visit to the lovely plasma center. I used to donate religiously sophomore year, but that faded out once I got a "real" job. It wasn't bad today at all though. I caught up on all my history reading, read most of the articles in The Onion, and even caught the end of the movie "Hell Boy". Not quite sure ( Read more... )

At 7:30AM this past Friday morning I woke up to my Dad calling my cell--- I knew instantly-- Yiayia had passed away. Monday night the gang had a Back to School BBQ/Erin's Bday bash at 607. (607 being where 7 of my good friends live over in dinkytown.) Anyhoo...it turned out to be an absolutely great time.
