So, just a little while ago I was sitting down with mom watching Mars Attack and it got to the scene in Nevada where the general is suppose to meet & greet the martians. The reporters were talking about how some ppl showed up probabbly just to say I was there. I lean over and tell mom

I would live in Mars... provided science can come up with a way to provide an adequate atomosphere... I suppose some kind of bioderm that would also protect it's inhabitants from the sun's solar flashes. lol.

But that would definetly rock!

We have the technology to do so...today...BUT that isnt where the general society is pushing, which really sucks. If the human race is to truely survive we need to start looking 100+ yrs down the road not the next 2-5 yrs (which most companies do...if they look that far most places dont want to fund research projects that'll take more than a year these days

Amen to that!

I agree that the bulk of humanity has an IQ of 70 or lower and it's unfortunate that people refuse to look into other means of surviving. But you are right about using up all our natural resources, eventually society will be forced to relocate to more habitable regions and Mars would start looking a heck of a lot better.

But of course nothing will happen until we have fucked ourselves over on this planet... hmmm... people need to plan ahead more.
