We went to the crash site yesterday. This may sound bizarre, but I found it really comforting. I will explain, but let me say first that I am aware that sarafiin , extorian and fluffy_firefly did not share my experience and I say this in full respect of their feelings. I wouldn't say I didn't share your experience. It upset me deeply, perhaps because everything I saw made it more real - all those bits of car were so familiar, the door handle Ben never opened... However, they're separate emotions. I think you would have been hard pushed to find a nicer area when travelling on a busy road between two cities; set next to the edge of a deep wood in the heart of stunning Scottish countryside, both of which I knew Ben loved. It felt to me like the wood whispered soothing words of comfort, its spirit spoke loud.
