Of trouts and trees

After getting back from meeting magpiewiseman on sunday, I went round to the churchyard to sit in the tree there for a while. Trouble was, I couldn't actually get up into the tree. We used to have a rope-ladder going up the main trunk, which (for someone of my height :P) is the only reasonable way up the trunk, given the proximity of the gravestones to land on

I know what you mean about interesting things happening. I feel that I've lost so much of my patience. I could sit on the moor at the cottage for hours at a time, just listening, feeling, hearing, and sometimes seeing. But now if nothing interesting happens in 5 minutes I'm bored.
