I think there's always a danger with that sort of concept. I've come across people in the past who really think they can see beyond those outer layers, speaking of it arrogantly like it's some super-power sense.

I'm glad you don't speak of it in that way, I enjoyed reading what you had to say. I definitely get the impression that you're one of those people who can see well beyond the surface and actually communicate with people.

I'm glad you realised that that wasn't what I was meaning. In fact it's rather the opposite. What I'm talking about is something that I think we can all (learn to?) do, which was the whole reason for posting about it.
