 I've found out that in March I can apply to become Canadian as I've been here long enough, originally I was not bothered because the passport is only good for 5 years while my UK one is 10 years. However since all my friends like to go shopping in Buffalo and I need to 'apply' to even travel on my UK passport I figure I might as well. I get to ( Read more... )

True and a lot of the things are like the UK just I'm so need to going to study I am really bad at tests.

I think you'd do better than most, I had a good giggle at work because one of my sales people did the test last year and he asked them questions to see if they could answer it. He asked them what's the capital of Ontario and BC. They got BOTH wrong, I was shaking my head at this, even I know the correct answer to that (ok maybe wouldn't get all the others without thinking but those ones should be pretty obvious especially Ontario).

Haha, yeah, my mom told me about the citizenship test, I wouldn't pass.

Here's a trick question, though I don't know if it's on the test, which province in Canada is officially bilingual?

It is, I recognized that from the governments website, they have some sample questions no answers though. Once I apply I get a book to study from and it has the answers. But the answer to the question is New Brunswick, not Quebec ;)
But yea most people would probably answer Quebec right?

Here's something funny, I just asked my husband that question. He pretty much worked through half of the provinces before he got it. Damn, guess he's not much help for study right?
