The plan was to drive up with my super cool friends and have a super cool time. But now I will be in Iceland which is even cooler ( Read more... )

I would totally be interested if I wasn't going to the beach that weekend. Haven't seen them since we went!

Also, let me know if you have any Iceland questions. We stayed in an awesome place, ate amazing food, went on tours, etc.

It really is going to be a great trip. Kristjan has it all planned out, so I should be good for things to do. I did want to know how you handled cash. When I go to UK, I just get money from ATM's -- the fees are minimal and you get the current bank exchange rate by US law. Do you think there's any issues with that? Also, I'm nervous about sheeps heads, smoked fish, and an endless supply of lamb. Any food things that you desperately wished you had thrown in your suitcase? Or other random items?

We used both ATMs and Visa. I learned the hard way on that trip to always make sure to let the CC company know when I'm going out of the country. I had constant credit card issues that could have been avoided.

You need to get yourself a Bæjarins Beztu hot dog with the works. Then you need to head over to either the Blue Lagoon or a Blue Lagoon product store (there's one on main street but I highly recommend going to the actual lagoon) and get yourself some Mineral Moisturizing Cream. Best moisturizer I've EVER used. I use it on my face and hands. Pick me up one while you're getting yourself some. Oh and the mask is pretty awesome, too.
