As I was reading I was moved by the love of the family, embracing their daughter and grandchild, even her boyfriend and supporting them. And then the family that bought the house did the same thing.
The horror is in the boyfriend turning out so wrong, and the foreboding the second daughter felt. Very well told. Brava!

I don't know how it is in other places, but here in Texas, if someone has died in the house you're selling, you're required to report it to any would-be buyers. So at least no one can buy it without knowing what happened!
