Not content with merely using it as a song lyric, Trent Reznor released a remix entitled "Fist Fuck." It was mixed by J.G. Thirlwell. The track is disorienting, combining sampled kitsch with angry drums and guitar and a squeaking mattress.

I'd actually never heard any of Fixed before neraulia started posting these, believe it or not!

I do like it. I'm not quite in love with any of the tracks yet, but I do find it strange that there seem to be so many fans who hate the record, like you mentioned in another comment. I wonder what that (hating Fixed) is about?

Probably because a lot of it's damn near unlistenably noisy/dissonant. Which is part of what I like about it.

It's funny, Trent has talked in interviews about how Broken is angry, noisy, inaccessible, etc. but Fixed is much more that way. I find it much more disturbing and visceral (in both senses of the word).
