hey hey...no sorries! things happen. glad to hear you made it here and back again okay. berlin was freezing though!

if there is any message that came across to me loud and clear during that show was that everything changes.

currently im trying to figure out how to see them again...
oberhausen is seemingly do-able.

wow, was that their setlist? I saw them in 1995, and was so viciously disappointed with the complete lack of any songs that weren't on Wild Mood Swings that I basically swore off ever hoping to see them again.

Those, however, are great songs...

it was amazing...per usual...they are TheCure<3
they played just shy of four hours!!!
more guitar heavy these days.

did you swear off of them because you didnt like wild mood swings?
what about the "dreamtour" to promote bloodflowers?!?!

if there was one thing i came home from this last show
was the reminder of the most honest truth:
nothing ever stays the same because everything changes.

Didn't like the album, really really wanted to hear the older stuff (it was my first concert). RS wore a hockey jersey and seemed aggressively chipper in a really angry fake kinda way and they only played for like 45 minutes. I just figured at the time that they were way beyond prime and contented myself with records.

I'm thrilled to hear that 13 years later, they put on an amazing show.

nothing is ever as it seems ;-)

many people didnt like wild mood swings because it deviated away from the cure´s "norm". but what is normal for the cure?!
(have you listened to "bloodflowers" or "the cure"?)

i went to something like six concerts during the swing tour and i am sure that they played much longer than 2 hours. the cure played for almost four hours last saturday and i left saying it was still too short! im sorry your first live cure experience wasnt what you had hoped it to be..still, its amazing to be able to say that the first concert youve ever been to was a cure concert<3

if you get a chance, do see them again...
an evening with cure is always special.
