Aunt Flo started her visit today, so I was crampy and not that willing to do anything that required effort that I wasn't willing to spend. So, since I was close to finishing my lace shawl, I decided to work on that all day

Yay! It may not be what you thought you were 'supposed' to be doing, but it's definitely a real accomplishment. i am proud of you, and i can't wait to see pictures of it finished! :D

Almost makes me want to make something totally from scratch now... make the paper, make the pigment, something... hmm.

I like making paper. Grinding pigment and mixing it with binders for paint has always been interesting. You should do it. (Just be careful, since pigments are Very Bad if inhaled.)
