I only watched the show for the first time several months ago, so I missed out on everything as it happened in real time. It seems so many people make fun of his communication skills, yet either Cow or Lip said he was one of the most intelligent people they'd ever met. Additionally, I read one of the online chats he did for showtime and, unless someone was typing for him, he has a seriously quick and dry wit and seemed very bright to me. I know he said 'um' and paused a lot in the couple of interviews I saw, but that to me is more indicative of shyness or a fear of doing interviews since it was so new to him.
Where did you get that quote? Do you have links to other stuff/interviews? I'd love to read more :)
