Note: this is a message I sent to the footballslash mods last week. Since I haven't gotten any kind of response, I decided to post it publicly. I know this is wanky as hell, but I also know there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't want their fics easily available on Google

Thanks for sending this to them. It was obviously my fic that got found out by the crew's blog and as I was in a bit of a emotional state for other reasons that day, I just took the entire thing down. Their post about it on the blog is more amusing than anything, but the last thing I want is for the players to find this stuff. So again, thanks for suggesting this to footballslash, whether or not they comply.

I'm so glad you're not upset -- I wouldn't have posted if you hadn't taken the fic down, because I didn't want you to think I was calling more attention to it. And I think taking it down was the right decision; honestly, I'd rather be too safe than not safe enough, especially in such a small corner of the fandom.

I doubt they'll do anything, but at least this is out there, you know? Maybe word of mouth will do what the mods won't.

I agree with what you've said. I will need to lock all my entries which I have yet to lock.
