I Reiki'd my dad yesterday after the nurses had said he may be on life support for atleast another 3 days. She said sometimes it takes even longer then that for a person to heal ( Read more... )

Awesome news darlin'! Just keep sending him that energy; reiki can work over distances, I've seen it happen. :D

It's your presence holding his hand that's calming the pulse. You, not some magic (though a loving daughter's presence is magical enough really). Keep visiting him as much as possible, that's what's actually helping.

You know I agree with squid_pants about this. I'm happy to hear that he's breathing on his own again. Nothing can be better for him right now than the care he's recieving and the company of his family.
