It's that time of year again... When metal heads from around the country are bound, gagged and dragged to MDF. Perhaps I'll see some of you in this Graveyard over there, or perhaps you don't actually exist. Either way its happening and word on the street is I, Sam, Mindy and others will probably be there too.

Right on. We can discuss many things of brew, of which I just racked a ridiculous cider into the secondary.

I'll see who in my group can be convinced to venture over there... However, from the Obsessed on through the rest of the night, I'll be firmly planted at Stage 1 with the exception of Ihsahn and Antaeus if I have the energy for them.

I'll be there Thursday. There wasn't enough on the fest to get me to invest limited funds for the rest of it.

I know how the "limited funds" things go, this is my first year there... As for the line up, to each their own. I'm stoked for most of it.

There's bands that I'd like to see, but the bands that i really want to see are on Thursday and Sunday. And since there's no Sunday ticket left... The decision is made for me. Before we get into work drama.

I really have to want to see most, if not all of a lineup to shell out a lot of money to go to something where I'm not going to enjoy the crowd.

Yeah... Might make me the dick... Or too high strung... But I do not identify with most of the MDF crowd, I do not associate with them and they generally get on my nerves.

Saturday is the day that I allowed myself to be dragged into this nonsense. And indeed the crowd at festivals does play a huge part, between the breaks in music... I might be inclined to speak to the person next to me.

...But not knowing what to expect (in terms of everything but the bands playing) is most of the fun.
