I just missed my councilling appt. I was stuck in Melbourne traffic and by the time i got there (20min late - why does it take 40min to get from Collingwood to Richmond??), my psych. had left. :( I really, really needed that appt. I'm not ashamed to say that i sat down on her doorstep and cried a little.

It's over!!!!!!! :D And it went really well! And if i lie down and close my eyes, my head starts spinning and floating off, which means i've had too much beer. (yay!) I would've like to post some of the grainy, out of focus photos i took ('cause i get all thing at events about using the flash - i feel like it's rude or something?), but i can't find ( Read more... )

Last week,
nixwilliams  put out a bit of a call on his LJ for individuals takes on how they came to decide they were trans, whether or not they struggled with it etc.  And also a bit of a call out for resources that ppl used to help them work out whether or not they were trans. The sequence is of a form called the "Old eight elbows matching form", with the old eight elbows being colliding, scooping, smashing, blocking(think?), framing, winding, peircing and double-bracing. Yes, i've figured out how to put moving images of myself up here now. The world is no longer safe... :P

So, this is me shooting 50M target with my new bow. Still getting used to the extra draw weight. I'd already shot about 120 arrows before i started filming, so if i look a bit tired, that'll be why.

And yes i know my bow hand is rubbish! :D
