Yay, Merlin is back!
I'll be rewatching this episode as soon as I get a chance. I am really delighted that Merlin & Arthur are back. All their scenes together! So many lovely moments I can't choose a favourite.
Merlin is so ready to tell Arthur about his magic. And really, if Arthur doesn't know, and by rights he should have known since Fires of Idirsholas, then he's the most wilfully blind character on tv.
Speaking of Merlin revealing things, that moment where he told Arthur of the druid seer's prophecy was very nicely done. I thought he was going to talk about his magic, but that he shared the information was equally pleasing. I'd love to see more sharing of this type continuing throughout this season.
And now for my theory.
I think that the glowy alien-like creature is actually Aithusa, the white dragon, in 'human' form, but no-one - not Merlin, not Morgana, not Kilgharrah, will be aware of this for quite a while.
