I'm so pleased your family are all OK. But it is a terrible situation. I'm getting to the point where I want to slash the tyres of the next politician who tells me there's a moral case for coal.
I am of the opinion that any politician who says 'moral case' means 'I've got money invested in the stuff'. After listening to Pyne blathering on again (in a short news item) about renewable energy not being feasible, carbon taxes affecting working families (which it didn't or our bills would have dropped significantly on removal) etc., I wonder how we ended up with a government so blind to the need to change the way we get electricity. This country should be a world leader with the amount of solar energy we can harvest on any given day.
