Given how cold the air has been even on the sunny days, I think when winter sets in I'll be double gloving while outside with the thin glove I'm wearing at the moment plus knitted glove. I probably had the same issue last winter but as I had to wear a glove almost all the time for most of winter, and even in bed for quite a number of weeks, I wasn't aware of any other causes of discomfort.

I do remember how much it hurt the first time I had the bandages off in a warmer than average room (burns unit rooms are kept very warm), the air on the skin was quite painful Thankfully I had been warned by the nurses what to expect, so it wasn't as much of a shock :)
