How do people who live in humid climates survive a heatwave? I am so used to an arid environment that heatwaves don't bother me. However we are having successive +38C days (and +27C nights) with high humidity and I. AM. NOT. COPING. Thanks :) I think I'd want more than just Malcolm's voodoo doll; bunch of coal loving wankers. They are full of shit as to why SA had rolling blackouts in the past two days, which had little to do with renewables and a large proportion to do with power companies refusing to add extra loading to the system at peak times. You have my sympathy for the extreme heat in NSW . Hopefully you didn't have to suffer with a rolling blackout today. I've only recently learned that air con in Sydney homes is not a common thing - eep! +40C in arid conditions is uncomfortable, but now that I've experienced it with added humidity... thanks but no thanks.
