[Key turns to look toward him, her eyes a little glassier than their usual blank robot look. But it was obvious by the way that her frail white form quivered that she was not in her usual shape.]

Key is all right. She is just on her way to school.

[She'd offer him a cookie, but he was already her friend.]

[She shakes her head.]

If Key is absent she will miss her lessons and fail her next test.

[Catches sight of some girl outside walking funny. She's kinda cute... so he figures he'll go and see if she's okay.]

[Key looks up him, sweat on her forehead and breathing heavy.]

Hello.

... Y'look kinda fucked up.

[Awkward (sick) robot-girl stare.]

What does 'fucked up' mean? Key does not understand.

..Key-san? You don't look so well.

[This girl is a poison master. Alright if she recognizes the symptoms?]

[Key turns, half-stumbling. Her eyes are half-lidded--it's been a few days, and it's finally starting to really show up through such things as bruises on her arms and her shortness of breath.]

Key does not? She feels different...

[Yeah, she definitely recognizes those warning signs.]

Did Key-san eat something strange a while ago?

[Key looked down at the sidewalk; she wouldn't mention the cookies, mainly because she made them a day ago and therefore didn't consider they would be what's ailing her.]

Key ate eggs and bacon this morning.

[Key is actually healed of the poison thanks to Shiki, but she's still in pretty terrible shape; she turns to her father, quivering.]

Key is fine now. She... is just not feeling well today... Key needs to go home and rest...

[Key has her cheek on his shoulder, staring at the houses nearby. She seems to read his concern in his voice, and is silent for a moment.]

...Key cannot do anything correctly. She causes so much trouble...

Key is sick. Key is going home to get better.

See, what'd I tell you? These human bodies are terrible. I doubt either of our normal bodies would catch a cold.

It is true, Key does not like how illness feels...
