Last Saturday night I felt inexplicably alienated at Red Square most of the night. Perhaps that was partly due to the fact that a couple friends who said they'd come didn't show up? Don't get me wrong, I was so glad to see everyone there, especially my_apotheosis...what had it been, 6 years?! Wow

A rare trip to the 'kick and stab' and where was jo jo? Well the sandman won that round and snooze on the couch. So JP is off to the Big Cheese, well I wish him luck and love and all that good stuff.

So yes on Thursdays or Fridays you'll find the old-guard from The Gord's Place days. Chances are it's because they can smoke inside, act retarded and do schoolyard scraps by the pool table. Course if they tried this, Kevin or Paul would haul their sorry asses out the door. I go there for my "daily dose of tragic comedy" and laugh my silly head off at the stupidity of mankind at it's worse....

Everytime I attempt to ask friends, "hey let's check out Metal night or do Friday at RS..." I get this "oh it's that clicky crowd blah, blah..." Like shaddap people. Better than RHCP with those 'happy shinny drunk people wearing gap"....haha..

But hey, I'm alittle shit for not passing through more often..(holds head in shame)

I'll admit...the Friday night crowd at Red Square might be a little cliquey in their own way (emo and bathroom-trashing fucking shitheads!)...but me being me does not care what the hell they think, and apparently neither do all my friends who come out that aren't like that...lol. I had a fantastic time that night, for the rare Friday appearance. I'm REALLY glad I went. ;)
As for Metal Night (Thursdays), that's hilarious they would call us cliquey...cuz it's just me, Joey, Paul and sometimes Brad...hahahahahaha!

I know what you mean about feeling alienated sometimes. A funny feeling of not quite being on the same groove as everyone else. When that happens I end up going home feeling absolutely alone in the world. I shake out of it by the next morning but just before going to bed I think to myself "Well, that was a wasted night. I should've just stayed home!"

Yeah, I was pretty much back to my old self by the next morning...it sucks but I guess I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who ever feels that way! (even though it's so rare!)
