oh.my.gawd! so freakin' cute. i think they would make terrible pets though cause my friend had one and all it did was squeal(i have no idea how to spell that word!) constantly. so annoying...
awwww yeah I guess that would get annoying after a while. My cat is a vocal one and this morning Mark was like "stop being a bitch!" (but said it in his sweet chipmunk voice. so funny)
There is an alpaca farm right up the street and I always stop to say hi to them. awwww They have the hugest eyes! Don't they remind you of those marionet puppets with the really long necks and legs? awwww
I know, they're so silly and awkward...especially the babies, they look broken. And they're so soooft. We visited an alpaca farm out by my in-laws for "National Alpaca Farm Day" (who knew?!) a couple weeks ago, and I just fell in love. Plus, if I had a pig, I wouldn't be able to eat bacon (the Achilles heel of vegetarianism!) anymore. I have enough guilt without that cuteness staring me in the face.
The only thing about them and llamas is I always think they are going to spit on me at any second. I don't even know if alpacas do that. My friend had a video of a llama spitting on her...so she spit back! hahaha.
That was the thing with going to sturbridge village and seeing all the animals. I didn't feel guilty like I used to!

I, personally, am on an alpaca kick. The husband says I can't have one.
