I don't update Publicly or Friends Only anymore, only Private..
But anyway.. about your dream situation.

You can't control your dreams.
But you can help to remember them.
Keep a journal and pen next to your bed.. so you can comfortably lean over and grab both and start writing. Before going to sleep.. stay aware of your stages of sleep.. and when you're half-way asleep [most people can't do this, it takes practice].. remind yourself to try to remember everything and to write as soon as you wake up what you just lived through.
Your dreams seem like your astral spirit leaving your body to someplace else, which is why sometimes with bangs and thuds in dreams you wake up.. its your spirit coming back into your body. Your dreams generally reflect whats happening in your waking life and eh.. messages from your subconcious about what to do in indecision, suggestions, predictions.. all of that mess.

I really don't want a silly remark about all this.. anyone can believe what they want, but I'm just trying to do my part to help you Chris. :)

You maybe shocked but I actually believe in this sort of thing....
I think you can control your dreams sometimes, you just have to be consciously aware your dreaming I've done it once or twice. Its just hard, and rare for me.
Thanks...
I really want to remember a lot more than i do

It's okay, why don't you have your LJ set to 'Rememeber You'?

I know you believe in that sort of thing, you did just post an LJ entry about it. I've never been able to lucidly dream.. I guess maybe but I always feel dreams are reality, in my dreams?.. It's confusing.
Yeah, just keep a notebook, that should help.

Also, waking up due to loud noises is very eh.. spiritually harming. I don't know why but eventually it causes people to get sick and weary and apathetic. Like someone yelling at you to wake up.. that's not good. I don't know about an alarm clock but nowadays, who has time to wake up whenever their sleeping clock is biologically arranged to wake up them up, other than sick rich bastards?

As you seem aware, Chris, lucid dreaming allows one to consciously control one's avatar in a dream, but it is a difficult thing to achieve.
