As promised, here's the details of my excessive guitar collection...
My BC Rich Bronze Series Warlock. The guitar I've owned the longest and the second guitar I ever bought. I traded in a crap Squire Strat for this 3.5years ago and started to get lessons. It's an OK guitar, not bad for £200, but it'd probably be the last guitar I'd part with if I had to sell them all as it holds so many good memories.
A copy of a Gibson SG made by Vintage. I took this in exchange for my PS2 a couple of months back. It's a lot better than a lot of SG copies I've seen, it has the advantage on being made of mahogany and having a set neck just like the real thing. If any one wants it, it's theirs for £100.
My 1998 Ibanez RG7620 7 string, the newest addition to the collection. A truly great guitar. Locking trem and Dimarzio pickups and it only cost me £400. Not bad for a guitar that was over a grand new!
My Ibanez RG7321, fixed bridge 7 string. Gaining Dimarzio pickups as soon as I get round to fitting them.
My Ibanez RG550EX. Absolute bargain. It's a 2001 guitar that sat in the Norwich branch of Academy of Sound until I bought last October for £150 less than retail. A very nice guitar, but I'm selling it as I'm mostly playing my 7 strings now and I've got other 6 strings. Think I've got a buyer, but it may find it's way onto e-bay if he changes his mind.
My one-of-a-kind Flying V. Put together from bits of other guitars back in the mid 80's by the boyfriend of my guitar teachers mum. I think it's a Fender neck with a reshaped headstock and I haven't a clue where the body came from but it is mahogany. It also came with one of the original Dimarzio X2N pickups which is probably worth a few quid now. This pics a few months old and was taken just before I took it all apart. It's getting an EMG pickup, a new bridge and tuners and a fresh paint job, just as soon as I decide what colour scheme I want.
ESP LTD M-207. Bought from a Cash Converters in Southend before I got my RG7620 (which is supposed to be it's replacement). Suffers from the same problem every non-Ibanez 7 string I've every played has, and that's a neck as thick as a baseball bat. Being sold to the other guitarist in my band as soon as he gets the cash.
My black Jackson Roswell Rhoads. A guitar to get you noticed with it's funky shape and crop circle style inlays. This one's a "player", it's got a few dings and scrapes on it, and a couple of screw holes by the bridge where it's previous owner fitted a synth pickup. I fitted an EMG-81 to it and tuned it down to B,
the same tuning as my 7 strings.
Finally the jewel in my collection, my blue metal flake Jackson Roswell Rhoads. These are rare guitars anyway, and even rarer in this finish as most are black. I know of only 2 others in the world, but there must be more than that. Absolutely mint and as it came from the factory, I've no intention of EVERY selling this one. Only gets played in special occasions.
