Kinda nervous right now, at 8:02, Thursday night, June 5th, 2008.  It's my night off, I'm at my parents' house alone, relaxing and working occasionally on comedy plans

I picked up this month's The Believer in great part for the dual David Cross interviews it contains. In one he essentially says that he does what he does because it's what he wants to talk about, because he needs to yell at the world and say the things he says; he's not necessarily doing it to be funny and he knows it's not funny to the majority. Keep fine-tuning what you're doing and do it for you, and I think you'll be okay.
