Even though we're only a few days in, I hope everyone is having a pleasant new year.  Since 2010 wasn't so great for me I'm not going to bother to rehash it; I'd rather not reflect on the shitty stuff that happened.  Let's hope that 2011 is better for everyone.

I love your reviews, so I really hope you can consistently write some up this year!

It is pathetic of me, but I never wanna read anything about animals being mistreated or the damage factory farming causes the environment cuz then it'll make me feel guilty about eating meat.

I stopped watching Mad Men after the start of S2 cuz I got all lazy. I should catch up before the next season starts. I'm so far behind already!

Aw, thank you! I like posting reviews because sometimes it helps facilitate a discussion of the books in the comments. Also, since I read so many books, sometimes I forget things about them (like things that happened or how I felt about a particular character, plot point, theme, etc.) and my reviews are good for reminding me.

I understand your not wanting to read about that stuff. I was actually kind of nervous before I started the book. I knew it would be bad, but I was expecting it to be that bad. It does make me feel bad about eating meat now and it also makes me feel ignorant for not knowing any of this stuff before. But I'm glad I read it because I found it very interesting, and I think it has information people should know.

I hope I didn't just spoil you for Mad Men! Like I said, I'm really liking the show, so I think you should continue watching it. The next season probably won't start until the summer, so you still have a lot of time to catch up.
