Last night I had a dream in which, through a series of hazy and nonsensical events (sympathetic damage from Battle Cat having his head rather messily torn off by an octopoid monster he was biting?), I lost my tongue

Odd. I've been getting some weird, vivid dreams lately.

It is pretty neat that your brain was able to make you think you were without.

I do recall a couple weeks ago a dream where I tried to bite my tongue off for some reason I can't recall- unfortunately, my body tried to follow through- ow.

it's a weird thing, that brain...

i had a similar shock after dreaming that my gums melted away and that all my teeth fell out. i spent most of the morning counting and recounting my teeth with my tongue until i was sure it didn't really happen.
