I haven't even gotten around to getting my first campaign off the ground. But, nothing stopping me from using books even if there are no more forthcoming. And at least this way, they won't come out with a book that causes everyone to want to redesign their characters "If I could have done that when we started..."

Heh, it's true that (as my character was a non-Force Sensitive soliderly sort) that I felt that way about Clone Wars and Galaxy at War.

I think it would be possible to do a fantasy version with a bit of tweaking. Some changes to the ranged/melee divide, and making the damage on the melee weapons more akin to blaster damage, instead of simply using the weapons damages out of the main book.
