Wayne! *gives the lovins* Great to see you posting, as always.

Hey, while you're in Kansas it'll be easier to go over the wedding details =p lmfao

Stephen King = fanfuckingtastic. I need to read more of his stuff. I think you've inspired me.

I'm glad you guys aren't getting split up. Also glad that you're going to Kansas. I think it'll be good for you to get home for a bit.

I didn't know you have a tatt. Another one would be cool. You'll have to post a pic of what you're considering getting. I've been thinking about getting one, but - long story short - I donate blood so I would have to wait a year if I get a tatt and I don't really want to do that at this point *shrugs*

I like the metallica tattoo idea that is cool.

In other news, LJ has made it's 8th million member over the last weekend. My question is, how many accounts are actually active? I have a small handful of individuals on my account that haven't posted shit in months. And yes, I don't just go to my Friends List. I go to individual journals more frequent than not. So I am reading the majority of the Journals that have added me. :D
I wonder that too

Ever read " It"? About a thousand and some change of pages. Long book.

Careful. Mechanics don't read books. You're about to shatter stereotypes!
Try to watch Battlestar Galactica! Now THAT'S some awesome tv watchin'!
Malmsteen is about to go on tour. Wow. He's DJing for an hour on Sirius. Strange things are afoot.

Mechanics don't read books? Sure they do. They have maintenance manuals in about every shop.

There you go again! Nobody reads those maintenance manuals! That's right there with asking for directions and putting the toilet seat down!

I'm totally going through a Stephen King summer myself! He's always been a favourite of mine and this summer my cousin gave me a bunch of his old books that I never got around to reading. So far, I've already RE-READ Pet Semetary, Carrie and The Shining and worked my way through Salem's Lot, Tommyknockers, Misery, Different Seasons, The Dead Zone, and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I've been dying to re-read It as well, but I sadly left it at my place in Ottawa for the summer =(

What is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon about?

It's about this nine year old girl who gets lost in the woods when hiking with her mom and brother. To keep herself company she keeps imagining that her baseball idol Tom Gordon is there and so she talks to him and such. And since it's Stephen King, there is of course something "dark and evil" watching her in the woods. It's fairly short, but I enjoyed it. He does a good job of telling things from a 9 year old girl's perspective.
