Video of the Week
The appearance of our beloved mother Mary was wonderful, yet heartbreaking. It was great to see Samantha Smith again and she did an awesome job, but it was difficult to watch her being in the form of an evil monster and menacing her two boys. Dean especially. He loves and missing his mother so much and to have her be all wicked towards him was a little difficult to stomach. I just wish some day, the show would give us a new Mary scene where she is loving Dean and telling him how proud she is of him. Dean could so use such an encounter with his mother.
So, in honor of last week's appearance by Mary, and because it is Mother's day on Sunday, I am highlighting a vid by GreyOwl8. The song is 'Mama Said' by Metallica and in this vid it highlights Dean's pain with the loss of his mother and revisits their relationship. This is a beautifully bittersweet vid. Enjoy!!
