Agreed, the lyrics tie in so well with the Winchester's lives. It was almost as if, this song was written for Dean and Sam.

The song does capture the core and mantra of the show and of Dean and Sam Winchester. It's as if the songwriter had foresight about this show that Eric Kripke was going to create and produce in 2005 and wanted to write a song to fit as their mantra. Very cool, indeed.
