I personally have a problem with "losing" (i.e., not having my Intent achieved). I am working on it - and, so should you - if you have the same problem. I am working on it by trying to shift my Stance from Actor to Author (i.e., from playing my character in the first person to playing my character in the third person). I hope that will give me the distance I need to, frankly, not care whether I "win" or "lose." I want to be more concerned with the story and more open to other's contributions. I think I will have more fun at the table then - and so will the other players.
