Ummm..... duh!

Go right before finals. Then they know what books they need, how many copies they need, and they don't have too many of them yet. You can get like 2/3 of what you pay.

There is no good source of income for selling back the books. I never even made enough back for my bus ticket home. Even Damascene is the suck.

The money you get back from books is teh suck. :-(
Seriously, it is extortionate the amount of money they give you back, and I would say that the demand for used textbooks (because they are minimally cheaper) is high. I usually tried to buy mine used.
