This is my latest piece for school. The project was "The Locket" and conceptually was supposed to be about "Secret". I chose to expresss my semi-secret love of fine and strange materials as well as a few other more secret things ( Read more... )

The piece looks great and the photos aren't so bad. That looks like you put a lot of work and thought into it.

That is really beautiful! Deadlines suck! The top must have some thickness to it to be able to hide a small magnet. Photographing shiny things is difficult, you did a good job.

I adore work like this.. if I owned it, I would cherish it.. It reminds me of that Metalsmith's Book of Lockets and Boxes.. with all the gorgeous works and photos. I just love it.
