Homesteading sounds awesome. Homegrown, organic food is so delicious. I wish I could do the same, but all I have is a itty bitty apt. balcony.

I wanted to check out your artfire shop, but your link is 404ing :/

eek! try it now? it's not terribly exciting anyway though, i have more on etsy than on artfire and i don't have too much new yet.

but how have you been?? i haven't heard from you in forever.

and you totally can have at least a little garden, especially if you've got a balcony. do a google search, you can find some cool tricks. i was surprised at how much you can actually do with just a balcony. :)

couple weeks ago. i couldn't deal with tacoma anymore... couldn't afford it, couldn't get a good job, was never able to pay properly on the house, too much negative energy... so we moved to semi-rural indiana where everything costs literally half as much, and my bachelor's degree actually means something again, and i'm not depressed all the time. i'm sorry i wasn't able to come say goodbye or anything... i fail. :( but hey, if you're ever in the midwest for some weird reason and you're bored, lemme know. you're an awesome person and i wish i'd been able to be a better friend while i lived closer.

I wish you luck with your transplant. Nothing like a fresh start. Best wishes!
