i'm kinda debating putting a few of my smaller, more mass-produceable items on amazon.com (yes, you can do that). the trouble is, amazon wants $40 a month + 20% commission to do it. i really would only need to sell three things a month to break even, but i just don't even know if i'd sell that many, since it's such a HUGE retailer. if i weren't

Lottery's only $28-31 a month. Unless you're with the Not buying tickets and hoping you'll win by finding the winning ticket on the ground method (my own personal choice).

Is there any way to talk to people about what kind of luck they've had?

yeah, i'm pretty much of the not-buying-tickets-but-hopeful-anyway crowd.

or that some celebrity or crazy in-hiding millionaire will randomly bestow upon me enough money for regular grocery shopping to become an achievable goal. :P
