hi!

so i was totally gonna reply to your comment, and then i went to look at your journal real quick, and saw the link you posted for the hyperbole&ahalf comic about procrastination, and now i think i love you. :P

that's awesome to meet another hoosier on here! i've definitely noticed that indy isn't a terribly internet-crazy state yet. i've actually only been living here about 8 months now, but i love it here. my parents grew up in indy though so i'm hoosier by blood if not quite birth haha.

thanks for looking at my jewelry stuff! :) i'm hoping to really start doing more with that soon... making sparklie silver things is my love.

it's kind of ironic actually that i ended up here... my parents were from here, then moved to east coast for employment, and that's where i happened. they spent the first 25 years of my life trying to convince me to move here (since they planned to retire back to indiana), which naturally led to me vehemently hating the idea. then i moved to washington state for a couple years and realized what true hatred of a state was, and so i finally took my parents' advice and came here :P and i hate them for being right, cos i LOVE it where i live now. to be fair, i live just outside of bloomington, so it's not nearly as cornfieldy as much of the rest of the state. but now i'm just waiting for them to come join me. aw. :P

I see you've friended me... and I have no idea where we crossed paths, except that I think I remember seeing your silver dollar ring on craftgrrl. We don't have a whole lot in common except a countryish way of thinking and living. And a love of thrift stores. :D Confusion aside... I like your journal. :D

So, hey, shall we try the friends thing anyway? Feel free to back out at any time if my geeky, fannish, weird ways get to you.
