This is so cute, I love that Tonks has a tradition of writing to Father Christmas to solve her problems (Can't remember if you're a Doctor Who fan but it reminds me of little Amelia praying to Santa to fix the crack in her wall in The Eleventh Hour :) ) That she would do so for Remus is just lovely. there's so much sadness in this but also a chink of light in her letter, her wishing Remus happy and that it then feel a little more like Christmas. Lovely.

Hhh! That hadn't occurred to me, but you're right! Clearly a bigger part of my subconcious is obsessed with Doctor Who than I realised! ;)

I'm glad you liked it. :)

Awwww.....Of course Love is wanting the other's happiness more than your own, and of course, the two are never independent :-)

Well done. Loved the motivation from HBP.

Thanks for sharing.

Once again, I think you may have added to my personal canon. OF COURSE Tonks would make sure that Remus had a place to go that wasn't "accompanying Greyback on eating a kid" for Christmas, even if things were completely rotten, even if she had to sacrifice for it.

And I don't even like this in a weepy, wibbley, mushy sort of way. It's just we always see these two being extremely considerate of others' needs in canon, it only makes sense that it intensifies in their own relationship. ;)

BTW... Happy New Year!

I love the idea of Tonks having a tradition of writing to Santa :) I like how she's asking for Remus to be happy on Christmas, not necessarily that he comes to her..it's so sad but sweet how they're both always trying to do what they think is best for the other :) and I love the little bit of hope in the end too.
