He was always an angry guy, but could charm his way out of anything; he was a football player, a womanizer, and so people overlooked his faults. Teachers always told his parents that boys mature later, that his grades would improve over time. His coach always told his parents that football was a great outlet for his temper, that he’d leave his anger on the field.
People gravitated towards Tyler Lockwood like small children towards a dog. And why not? Dogs love to be petted, they love attention.
Thing is, sometimes dogs bite.
