Headmaster,
I was wondering, how will we explain the return of Remus? I am quite worried that when the parents find out, they'll panic again, and letters will be sent once more full of werewolf prejudice and whatnot. I know Remus is worried about it too; he doesn't want to cause you or the school any trouble. Do you have any ideas as how to approach this? And is there anything I can do to help convince him that yes, we do need him here?
Thank you very much for your time,
Tonks
Auror
Tonks finished tying the note to Luna's collar and petted her kitten lovingly. 'You know where to find him, Luna.' The black kitten mewed, and made her way towards the door. As Tonks opened it, she added, 'And don't stay out too late; you don't want Mrs. Norris to try fighting you again, okay?'
The kitten purred and went on her way down the corridor.
Tonks shut the door, and sank into her chair by the fireplace, her fingers playing absentmindedly with the talisman Remus had given her. Speaking of which...
Tonks pulled out her journal, and began to write.
Well, I just wanted some advice, really.....I really, really, really fancy Remus, and as most of you know, he is a werewolf, and all of that, but....I really do fancy him, maybe even love him. Actually, I'm almost positive that I do love him.
Anyway, I wanted to know if you had any ideas of how I should tell him. I'm going to wait awhile, but when the time comes, I want to tell him in a way that won't scare him away or destroy our friendship. Any suggestions?
Sighing, she closed her journal and waited expectantly for Luna to come back with the Headmaster's reply.
